Vasco de Gama belongs to the great breed of the Portuguese scafarers (1469-1524).His first great expedition led him to India round the Cape of Good Hope. Although he was known to be violent and pitiless, he showed enough courage and determination to communicate with both humble sea workers and proud sultans. Contrary to Christopher Columbus, Vasco de Gama did not leave behind any logbook. We thought it was urgent to give this outstanding seafarer a graphic wake. That's why we designed the De Gama typeface as a tribute to him. This new font which offers a very special face in its five type families, will help you sail from page to page towards new far away lands.
